Tank Carder in the 2010 Fiesta Bowl

LAS VEGAS - TCU linebacker Tank Carder is the lone unanimous selection to the Preseason All-Mountain West Conference Team as well as the choice for Preseason MWC Defensive Player of the Year.

Also representing the Horned Frogs on the Preseason All-MWC Team are wide receiver Josh Boyce, offensive guard Kyle Dooley and defensive end Stansly Maponga.

The defending Rose Bowl champion Horned Frogs were picked second in the league standings. TCU returns 11 starters from last year's 13-0 team that finished second in the Associated Press and USA Today season-ending polls.

Reporting Day for the Horned Frogs is next Wednesday, Aug. 3, with the first practice set for Aug. 4.
