The Mtn. Welcomes Boise State to the Mountain West

The Mtn. welcomes Boise State as the newest member of the Mountain West on Friday, July 1st with three unique shows created with the goal of familiarizing MW fans with Boise, Boise State University and the Broncos.

The first of the three shows, Boise State Football, An Epic Ascent, follows the Broncos' climb from humble beginnings to become one of college football's elite programs on the national stage.

Boise State Football, An Epic Ascent airs at 7 p.m. MT.

The Mtn.'s airs a Boise State-themed edition of Stories of the Mountain West on Monday, July 4th at 7 p.m. MT as part of Boise State Week.

Hosted by Joanna Canals, Stories of the Mountain West is a one-half hour program showcasing unique story lines of past and present personalities from across the Conference.

The three segments from the upcoming episode include:

* A Boise State alum, Ward Hooper, catches the spirit of Bronco Nation with his artwork

* Marius Payton goes one-on-one with Bob Kustra, President of Boise State University

* The Mtn. takes viewers "Beyond The Blue" with an inside look at the Boise State Broncos athletic department

Encore presentation of Boise State Football: An Epic Ascent, Beyond The Blue: Boise State Athletics and Welcome to Boise will also air on Monday, July 4th.

The Mtn. Announces 2011 Football Broadcast Teams

The Mtn. has named its football broadcast teams for the upcoming 2011 Mountain West football season.
 
The tandems of Todd Harris
(play-by-play) and Todd Christensen (analyst), Ari Wolfe (play-by-play) and Blaine Fowler (analyst), and Bill Doleman (play-by-play) and Jay Leeuwenburg (analyst) will form the three broadcast teams that will work the 30 games scheduled to appear on The Mtn. this fall.
 
Sidelines reporter duties will be performed on a rotating basis by Roger Bailey, Jenny Cavnar, Toby Christensen, Andrea Lloyd, Amanda Mazey, Cash Sirois, Molly Sullivan and Natalie Vickers.


Weekly Shows And Features

AROUND THE MOUNTAIN
Each week, Around The Mountain, presented by Jeep features a panel of reporters, columnists and media personalities from across the Conference. ATM airs Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. MT during the month of July.

IT'S A NUMBERS GAME
Host Scott Sarra takes viewers past the highlights and deep into the trends and box scores in "The Most Exciting 15 Minutes in Television." Notable numbers and the opportunity to win some great MountainWest Sports Network merchandise are part of every show. It's a Numbers Game airs Fridays at 5:30 p.m. and 5:45 p.m. MT throughout July.


MOUNTAIN SPORTS REPORT, PRESENTED BY DODGE
Mountain Sports Report, presented by Dodge features scores, highlights plus game previews and top stories from across the Conference. This 30-minute news program airs live Tuesday and Thursday at 5:30 p.m. during the month of July.
