MWC FOOTBALL: BYU/UTAH, UNLV/SAN DIEGO STATE PLAY ON THE MTN. SATURDAY

 
The Mtn. enters into its final Mountain West Conference football telecasts of 2010 with a pair of games scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 27, including the annual rivalry match-up of BYU and Utah in the Deseret First Duel.
 
At 1:30 p.m. MT, #22 Utah (9-2, 6-1 MWC) kicks off against BYU (6-5, 5-2 MWC) in Salt Lake City with James Bates (PxP), Todd Christensen (analyst), Toby Christensen (sidelines) and Sammy Linebaugh (sidelines) calling the game.
 
The second half of the day’s coverage starts at 6 p.m. MT when UNLV (2-9, 2-5 MWC) travels to San Diego State (7-4, 4-3 MWC).  The crew of Ari Wolfe (PxP), Blaine Fowler (analyst) and Jenny Cavnar (sidelines) will work the game for The Mtn.
 
All games are presented and available in high-definition.
 
MOUNTAIN WEST FOOTBALL SATURDAY, ALL-22 LEAD OFF BYU/UTAH GAME COVERAGE
 
The Mtn. opens its Saturday coverage of Mountain West Conference football from its suburban Denver, Colo. studios this weekend with 90 minutes of features, stories and game previews leading up to the Deseret First Duel, featuring BYU and Utah, starting at 11 a.m. MT with Mountain West Football Saturday.
 
Marius Payton and Bill Doleman host Mountain West Football Saturday with expert analysis provided by Joe Glenn, Ted Sundquist and Jay Leeuwenburg.

Then at 12:30 p.m. MT, The Mtn. airs a special All-22 episode dedicated to the upcoming BYU/Utah Deseret First Duel and UNLV/San Diego State match-ups.
 
Ram Trucks Pregame Live airs at 1 p.m. MT with insight and analysis for the Deseret First Duel, which kicks off in high-definition at 1:30 p.m. MT.

2010 MWC FOOTBALL AWARDS SHOW AIRS LIVE TUESDAY, NOV. 30 AT 1 P.M. MT
 
The 2010 Mountain West Conference football award winners will be announced live on The Mtn. Tuesday, Nov. 30 at 1 p.m. MT. 
 
The 30-minute special presentation, hosted by network anchor Bill Doleman along with analysts Beau Morgan, Kelly Stouffer and Ted Sundquist, will feature interviews with the announced winner of each of the following categories:
 
• Coach of the Year
• Offensive Player of the Year
• Defensive Player of the Year
• Special Teams Player of the Year
• Freshman Player of the Year
 
The All-Conference teams, consisting of 25 first-team and 25 second-team players, will also be announced.  There will be 11 offensive players by position, 11 defensive players by position, one place kicker, one punter, and one special teams player on the first and second teams.

A CONVERSATION WITH… JIM LIVENGOOD AIRS MONDAY, NOV. 29 AT 7 P.M. MT

 
The Mtn. presents A Conversation with ... Jim Livengood.  Join host Marius Payton as he sits down with UNLV’s director of athletics in this 30-minute original program on Monday, November 29 at 7 p.m. MT.
 
A Conversation with... features prominent individuals of the Mountain West Conference and NCAA and gives viewers the opportunity to hear first hand and in their own words about the past, present and future of people they have come to know through the MWC.
 
Named to his current position on Dec. 17, 2009, Mr. Livengood spent his previous 15 years in a similar capacity at the University of Arizona, where his work garnered an Athletic Director of the Year Award from the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics in 2006 for Division I-A.
 
Mr. Livengood also served as athletic director at Washington State from 1988-93.

MOUNTAIN SPORTS REPORT, PRESENTED BY DODGE
 
Mountain Sports Report, presented by Dodge, airs live five nights a week and features scores, highlights plus game previews and top stories from across the Conference.
 
This 30-minute news program airs live Tuesday through Friday at 5:30 p.m. MT and on Saturday’s at 10 p.m. MT or after the final game scheduled for that evening.
