BB: Goulsmith's Contract will not be Renewed

LAS VEGAS - UNLV baseball head coach Buddy Gouldsmith’s contract will not be renewed following the 2010 season, Athletics Director Jim Livengood announced Tuesday.
Gouldsmith, who is finishing his seventh year leading the program, will coach the remainder of the season for the Rebels. The sixth head coach in UNLV history, Gouldsmith was promoted on June 9, 2003, after serving as an assistant for two years with the Rebels. Gouldsmith has a career record of 200-211 (.487) entering Tuesday’s game against Cal State Northridge.
Livengood said a national search will begin immediately but he will not comment until the 2010 season is complete.
