FB: Wolf Pack Puts Up 51 on Visiting Rams

RENO, Nev. - Colin Kaepernick had 402 yards of total offense, rushing for two touchdowns and passing for two others, as Nevada routed future Mountain West Conference foe Colorado State 51-6 on Saturday night.

Kaepernick had 11 carries for 161 yards and hit 21 of 29 passes for 241 yards before being pulled early in the fourth quarter with the Wolf Pack leading 44-6.

Nevada (2-0), which will move from the WAC to the Mountain West next season, had 631 yards of total offense and scored on every offensive possession.

Colorado State (0-2), which has yet to score a touchdown this season after losing 24-3 to Colorado in its season opener, was limited to two field goals by Ben DeLine. Pete Thomas finished 23 of 36 for 194 yards for the Rams. He was sacked five times and intercepted once.
