The Mtn. Announces 2010-11 Women's BBall Schedule
FacebookCENTENNIAL, Colo. – The Mtn. – MountainWest Sports Network will air 26 women’s match-ups (22 regular season and four 2011 Conoco MWC Basketball Championship contests) available nationally as part of its 2010-11 television package.
The women’s schedule includes non-conference games that feature UCLA visiting San Diego State, Stanford at Utah, Arizona at New Mexico, Wisconsin at Wyoming, and TCU hosting Georgia and Oklahoma. 16 of the 22 regular season telecasts feature Mountain West Conference match-ups.
Six games will be produced in conjunction with the TCU Film / Television / Digital Media Department and aired by The Mtn.
The Mtn. surrounds most live game telecasts for both men’s and women’s games with comprehensive pre, halftime and postgame studio shows dedicated to the coverage of MWC basketball. Ram Pregame Live will lead off most telecasts, with in-depth features and previews of the day’s upcoming action, and will also air before subsequent games during the day, time permitting. Ram Halftime Live airs each and every game, providing highlight and updates from around the conference and beyond while recapping the game in progress. Ram Postgame Live revisits the scores and highlights from the prior game as well as throughout college basketball and follows most live game telecasts.
The Mtn. will air four women’s games, including the tournament semi-finals, from the 2011 Conoco MWC Basketball Championships. 2011 tournament coverage runs Wednesday, March 9 through Friday, March 11 from the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nev. and will be presented in HD.
