MOUNTAIN WEST FOOTBALL SATURDAY TO INCLUDE SPECIAL GUEST

 
The Mtn. opens its Saturday coverage of Mountain West Conference football from its suburban Denver, Colo. studios with one full hour of features, stories and game previews.
 
Marius Payton and Bill Doleman host Mountain West Football Saturday with expert analysis provided by Joe Glenn and Jay Leeuwenburg.

This week, Mountain West Football Saturday welcomes a special guest as Air Force head football coach Troy Calhoun joins the show to share his expertise and insight into Saturday’s games across Conference and more.

Mountain West Football Saturday starts at 11 a.m. MT.
 
FOOTBALL REGULAR SEASON IN HOME STRETCH

 
The Mtn. presents its final Mountain West Conference football tripleheader of 2010 with three games scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 20.
 
At 12 p.m. MT, Colorado State (3-8, 2-5 MWC) kicks off against Wyoming (2-9, 0-7 MWC) for the Bronze Boot in Laramie with James Bates (PxP), Todd Christensen (analyst) and Andrea Lloyd (sidelines) calling the game.
 
The second game of the day follows at 4 p.m. MT when New Mexico (1-9, 1-5 MWC) travels to BYU (5-5, 4-2 MWC).  The crew of Ari Wolfe (PxP), Blaine Fowler (analyst) and Sammy Linebaugh (sidelines) will work the game for The Mtn.

The nightcap at 8 p.m. MT from Las Vegas, Nev. features #24 Utah (8-2, 5-1) at San Diego State (7-3, 4-2) with Tim Neverett (PxP) and Robert Griffith (analyst) in the booth and Jenny Cavnar working the sidelines.
 
All games are produced and available in high-definition.
 
MEN’S BASKETBALL TELECASTS THIS WEEK

 
The Mtn. airs two men’s basketball games this week beginning with TCU hosting SMU on Tuesday, Nov. 16 at 6 p.m. MT as part of a TCU-student production.
 
Then on Wednesday, Nov. 17, Utah State travels to Provo to take on BYU for a 7 p.m. MT tip.
 
Peter Young (PxP) and Joe Cravens (analyst) will call the game from courtside.  Ram Trucks Pre-Game Live leads off the action at 6:30 p.m. MT with Mountain Sports Report, presented by Dodge following the conclusion of the game.
 
WOMEN’S BASKETBALL TELECASTS THIS WEEK

 
The Mtn. presents a women’s basketball inter-conference match-up on Friday, Nov. 19 when Utah hosts Stanford in Salt Lake City.
 
Coverage begins at 6:30 p.m. MT with Ram Trucks Pre-Game Live.
 
The tandem of Mike Evans (PxP) and Ann Schatz (analyst) will call the game live starting at 7 p.m. MT.
 
Mountain Sports Report, presented by Dodge follows the conclusion of the game.
 
MWC VOLLEYBALL
 
The 2010 Mountain West Conference volleyball telecast schedule on The Mtn. reaches its conclusion on Thursday, Nov. 18 at 7:30 p.m. MT when Utah hosts New Mexico.
 
The tandem of Anne Marie Anderson (PxP) and Amy Gant (analyst) will call the match.
 
Olympic sports fans can find scores and highlights for volleyball and more five nights a week on Mountain Sports Report, presented by Dodge Tuesday - Friday at 5:30 p.m. MT and Saturdays at 10 p.m. MT.
 
RIVALRIES: CSU VS. WYOMING AIRING THROUGHOUT THE WEEK ON THE MTN.

 
The Mtn. presents the latest installment of its Rivalries series: Rivalries: CSU vs. Wyoming. This one-half hour documentary, narrated by Emmy Award-winner James Bates, takes viewers through the history of the football series between Colorado State and Wyoming through the eyes of those involved.
 
The series between the two institutions, which began in 1899, has spanned three centuries. Since 1968, the winner has been presented with the Bronze Boot, worn by Captain Dan J. Romero during the Vietnam War.
 
Rivalries: CSU vs. Wyoming documents the history of the series, from its early beginnings to the significance of the Bronze Boot.  Interviews include Joe Tiller, Joe Glenn, Joey Porter and Marcus Harris.
 
Rivalries: CSU vs. Wyoming is airing daily leading up to the CSU/Wyoming game Nov. 20. Check local listings or visit themtn.tv for times.
