The Top 25 Rankings for the week of September 27, 2010 are out and ready for review. The fourth weekend of the season didn't disappoint as there was plenty of drama throughout the games on Saturday. A great deal of the drama came out of Arkansas as the #10 Razorbacks almost pulled off the upset against the #1 ranked Alabama Crimson tide. The biggest upset of the day came out of Austin, TX as the #7 ranked Longhorns suffered a 34-12 defeat at the hands of the UCLA Bruins. The #12 South Carolina Gamecocks lost to #17 Auburn 35-27.While the outcome of these game didn't have any influence on the Horned Frogs, Utah did reap the benefits.

Sitting at the #14 spot, the Utes rolled up 56 points over the visiting San Jose State Spartans on Saturday. The win helped the Utes jump to the #13 spot in the AP Top 25 and #12 in the USA Today Poll. The jump wasn't a drastic move, but a move forward nonetheless. Unfortunately, the voters didn't feel much love for the TCU Horned Frogs and their performance against SMU on Friday night. TCU was jumped over by the Oregon Ducks in the AP Top 25 poll and moved down to the #5 spot. The Horned Frogs remained at the #5 spot in the USA Today Polls.

Fresh off their 27-13 win over BYU on Saturday night, the Nevada Wolf Pack broke into the Top 25 of both polls at the #25 spot. Nevada finished off their non-conference schedule with an impressive 4-0 record.
